Human Growth Hormone (HGH)

Human Growth Hormone is a peptide hormone produced by the pituitary gland that governs growth, metabolism, body composition, and cellular repair. Synthetic HGH (somatropin) is used for anti-aging, fat loss, muscle preservation, and recovery. Unlike anabolic steroids, HGH produces gradual, quality changes over months and doesn't suppress natural testosterone.

  • Also known as: HGH, Somatropin, GH
  • Form: injectable
  • Half-life: ~15–20 minutes (active), effects last 24+ hours
  • Typical cycle length: 3–6 months minimum for full effects
  • Typical dose (men): 2–4 IU/day (performance); 1–2 IU/day (anti-aging/TRT)
  • Typical dose (women): 1–2 IU/day
  • PCT required: no

Dosing by experience level

LevelDoseFrequencyNotes
Anti-Aging / TRT1–2 IU/dayDaily, fasted morning or before bedMinimum 3-6 months for benefits
Performance3–4 IU/daySplit AM/PMStack with insulin and IGF-1 for advanced protocols
Advanced6–10 IU/daySplit dosesHigh dose — significant insulin resistance risk

Side effects

  • Insulin resistance / elevated blood sugar
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Joint pain (water retention in joints)
  • Acromegaly at very high doses
  • Lethargy initially
  • Elevated IGF-1 (cancer risk theoretical)

Common stacks

  • Testosterone Enanthate
  • Insulin
  • IGF-1 LR3
  • Peptide secretagogues (CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin)

Important notes

  • Does not suppress natural testosterone — no PCT needed
  • Results are slow (3-6 months) but long-lasting
  • Best protocol: inject before sleep or fasted morning
  • Peptide secretagogues (CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin) are safer, cheaper alternatives
  • Pharmaceutical grade somatropin required for research — avoid generic Chinese brands
