CJC-1295 No DAC dosage and protocol

CJC-1295 without DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) analog. It stimulates growth hormone secretion and is often studied in combination with GHRP peptides.

  • Vial size: 5 mg

Quick start

  • Reconstitute: Add 3.0mL bacteriostatic water → ~1.67mg/mL concentration
  • Typical daily range: 100–300mcg once daily (gradual titration)
  • Easy measuring: At 1.67mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01mL ≈ 16.7mcg on a U-100 syringe
  • Storage: Lyophilized at 2–8°C; after reconstitution, refrigerate and use within 1–2 weeks; for longer storage, freeze at ≤−20°C

How it works

CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as modified GRF 1-29, is a 29-amino-acid analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone with four substitutions that improve resistance to enzymatic degradation. Unlike the DAC version, it does not bind albumin, so its half-life is about 30 minutes. This produces a short, discrete GH pulse rather than a sustained elevation. It binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, activating cAMP signaling that increases GH synthesis and secretion. Released GH acts on the liver and other tissues to raise IGF-1, which mediates many anabolic and metabolic effects. Because GHRH-receptor agonists amplify pulses that are still regulated by somatostatin, it is frequently paired with a ghrelin-receptor agonist such as ipamorelin or GHRP-2 to obtain a stronger response. Human data are largely limited to studies of GHRH analogs in general, which show GH and IGF-1 increases, and tesamorelin, a related approved GHRH analog for HIV-associated abdominal fat. Modified GRF 1-29 itself has not completed formal clinical trials and is not approved. Effects on body composition, recovery and aging in healthy people have not been demonstrated in controlled studies.

Reconstitution steps

  • Draw 3.0mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe
  • Inject slowly down the vial wall; avoid foaming
  • Gently swirl/roll until dissolved (do not shake)
  • Label and refrigerate at 2–8°C (35.6–46.4°F), protected from light

Storage

Freeze before reconstitution. Refrigerate after. Use within 30 days.

Important notes

  • Research use only.
  • Best administered on empty stomach.
  • Often combined with Ipamorelin or GHRP-2.
