CJC-1295 + GHRP-2 dosage and protocol
A synergistic blend combining CJC-1295 (no DAC) with GHRP-2 for enhanced growth hormone release research. This combination is studied for its amplified GH secretion effects.
- Vial size: 10 mg
- Reconstitution: 3 mL bacteriostatic water
- Concentration: 3.33 mg/mL
- Administration: subcutaneous
Research areas
- Growth Hormone
- Recovery
- Muscle Research
- Anti-Aging
Quick start
- Reconstitute: Add 3 mL bacteriostatic water to the 10 mg vial for about 3.33 mg/mL
- Typical dose: 150 mcg total nightly for two weeks, then 300 mcg total
- Easy measuring: At 3.33 mg/mL, 1 unit (0.01 mL) is about 33 mcg on a U-100 syringe, so 150 mcg is about 4.5 units and 300 mcg is 9 units
- Storage: Freeze before mixing; refrigerate after and use within 30 days
Dosing protocol
| Phase | Dose | Frequency | Volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–2 | 150 mcg total (0.15 mg) | Once daily (preferably before bed) | 0.045 mL |
| Weeks 3–12 | 300 mcg total (0.30 mg) | Once daily (preferably before bed) | 0.09 mL |
How it works
This blend pairs two growth hormone secretagogues that act through different receptors. CJC-1295 without DAC (also called modified GRF 1-29) is a GHRH analog that stimulates the pituitary GHRH receptor and has a half-life of about 30 minutes. GHRP-2 (pralmorelin) is a synthetic hexapeptide that activates the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus and also suppresses somatostatin's inhibitory tone. Activating both pathways at once produces a GH pulse that is considerably larger than either agent alone; this synergy between GHRH and ghrelin-mimetic peptides has been demonstrated in human pharmacology studies using GHRH and GHRP-type compounds. The resulting GH rise increases IGF-1 production by the liver. GHRP-2 also raises appetite through ghrelin-receptor activity and can modestly increase cortisol and prolactin. GHRP-2 has been used diagnostically in Japan to test GH reserve, and both components have short-term human data on GH release. There are no controlled long-term human trials of this specific combination for body composition, recovery or anti-aging outcomes, and neither component is approved in the US for these uses. Outcome claims are therefore extrapolated from hormonal effects rather than demonstrated.
Reconstitution steps
- Draw 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe
- Inject slowly down the vial wall; avoid foaming
- Gently swirl/roll until dissolved (do not shake)
- Label and refrigerate at 2–8°C, protected from light
Storage
Store frozen before reconstitution. Refrigerate after. Use within 30 days.
Important notes
- Research purposes only.
- Best administered on empty stomach.
- Often studied before sleep for natural GH pulse.
